#Futuremedicine Well Medicines will remain forever as the diseases will be. The thing is in future the technology would itself open the benefits of the historic knowledge and know how, which has already been written and drafted in our ancient manuscripts. I think plant medicines and compounds extracted from these medicinal plants would be real future of the medicines. What are your opinions ??

One of area of research is finding the drugs and therapies to target the newly discovered mechanisms that cause the disease .Medicinal plants represent a real plant for the manufacture of natural molecules endowed with biological activities and which are still little exported despite the latest progress. I think we need to focus research in this direction.
Discovering all mechanistic pathways involved in each disease and targeting any dysfunction of these mechanisms using bioactive molecules.
The above mentioned areas are indeed very relevant in the context of "Future Medicine". In the area of medical research, the most important focus would continue to be research on the cause of cancer and also development of newer therapies for the same.
Secondly, there are several "unmet medical needs" in the realm of pharmacotherapeutics, in respect of many diseases. Perhaps this also needs to be addressed through R&D.
Some bacterial strains have developed resistance to antibiotics and this is a serious public health problem today. So, I think the future of medicines will focus on replacing antibiotics with medicinal and aromatic plants which have the same effect.
