These days I'm working in a printing company which is doing flexo and gravure printing. These types of printing methods are using water base inks. So, they are removing 4000L volume wastewater per day with these inks.
At the moment, they are using chemical Oxidation and after the settling, treated water is filtering through a filter press machine. This filtration machine's flow rate is not enough for the demand and also filtered water quality also not in a good level. So, as far as I observed the best filtration method for these types of wastewater is sand filtration. But the problem is, there is no such a big area to construct a sand bed.
What will be the best filtration method for this situation?
We use reverse osmosis, because there are a lot of other TDS substances in the water as well. A small domestic kitchen benchtop RO unit may work well for smaller quantities. You shouldn't have to pressurise it very much. There are a lot of these available quite cheap so you can run a test that won't cost much.

Even if you have enough area for the sand bed, it is not effective for water based dyes/inks. An integration of activated carbon bed along with sand bed will be be effective.
you did not mention bout the ink concentration in your bed.
Since your facility doesn't have enough space, you can go for RO process or Electro-Fenton processes which are found to be very effective for the dye molecule oxidation.
Apart from these, Since you have real field dye wastewater source, You can try for the bioelectrochemical removal of dye wastewaters in bench scale reactor. If that successful and you find it is economical for your company, you can upscale it. I have done some basic studies with dye wastewater. you can see in the below link. The reseach related to Bioelectrochemical systems or microbial fuel cells (MFC) is developing rapidly. This study will definitely fetch you for the advancement (if you are motivated enough!!!).

The two main methods commonly employed in the industry are coagulation-flocculation and the more recent Fenton oxidation processes, however, a combination of the two methods can achieve removal efficiencies of 100%, 93.4% and 87.2% for color, COD and suspended solids (SS) respectively. Perhaps a previous coagulation with Ca2+ may help, then carbon and the Fenton
