i want to study the stress strain behavior pre yield strength ....can someone suggest what to values are to be taken for yield strength and plastic strain for aluminium in plasticity of material property in abaqus..my model is square honeycomb structure ....

There is an example problem in Abaqus documentation. I have taken the above data from that example. Also i'm attaching the input file for your reference. Please be careful with the units. You have to use consistent unit system. If you are going to use the above properties, your model should be in mm :-)

I don't think your question is sufficiently specific - do you mean pure Aluminium or an alloy? Plastic behaviour will strongly depend on alloy composition, heat treatment etc.

divide the stress by the youngs modulus to get the elastic relaxation strain.
Total strain - Elastic relaxation strain = plastic strain

The material property and elastic-plastic data's for each type of AL alloy are different. Assuming you have the stress-strain curve of your material, then you can calculate the plastic strain from the stress-strain diagram as below:
Plastic strain = Total strain - Elastic strain
