I am undergoing an analysis with three research hypotheses. However, I am confused on what type of statistical tool is best used for the hypotheses. These hypotheses are:
1. There is no significant relationship between the socio-demographic characteristics of the student and awareness of prostate self-examination among the students.
2. There is no significant difference between perception of prostate self examination and the factors militating against the practice of prostate self-examination among student.
3. There is no significant relationship between the socio-demographic characteristics of students and perception of prostate self-examination.

These are the hypotheses, I would be glad to recieve your scholarly advice and recommendations on the best statistical analysis tool to employ for the study.

these are all null hypotheses!!! Why? You should be framing your research in terms of alternative or experimental hypotheses!
It depends on how you are going to measure prostate self examination as to what statistical tool to use. However, it seems to me that you are likely to use some sort of ordinal scale, but i might be wrong about that. But you seem to be using a multivariate approach also. Without more detail, it is impossible to be certain which test to use. I dont think you have operationalised your variables sufficiently at the moment. They are too waffly. FOr example, which socio demographic variables are you considering? Which specific factors are you going to use as the factors militating against the practice of prostate self-examination among students, there is a need for greater thought and being more specific before it is possible to decide what test to use. The socio-demographic characteristics considering in the work includes; age, religion, ethnic background/group, class and department of study. (NB: The class and department of study are needed since the subject of study are student).
The factors includes: level of education, fear of detecting prostrate cancer, cultural beliefs, economic status and stigmatization.

Abdulquadri Akande Raji that is much clearer. these are mostly nominal variables, but with possible ordinal and interval variables, depending on how you handle and organise the data. Therefore you need to use Chi Squared, and crosstabulate the various variables. Have you decided on what statistical package to use?
