I teach a senior level public health research methods course. I continually ask myself what research skills should a BS public health student have. I would like for my course to be about "what they need to be employable" vs just teaching them something because its in the book.
So, my question is - what are the most important research skills needed for a BS public health student?

Data collection and data analysis are two most important skills BS public health student should have.
Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis .
Ability to critically evaluate research findings, identify biases, and assess the validity and reliability of research methods and results.
