Many of you can relate to my current situation. I am inundated with e-mail requests for manuscripts, speaking engagements, manuscript review and most recently, chapter authorship.

One does not want to pass on an opportunity to disseminate research or project findings.... But how to distinguish between opportunity and predatory "scholarship"?

I looked into two speaker requests to find that the speaker fees were greater than the attendee fee. Outrageous!

I came across this website: http://thinkchecksubmit.org/

It was helpful. Many thanks to @ Paul Vaucher for bringing forward the Predatory Nature of OMICS.

Please share predatory "scholarship" experiences with your colleagues and mentees. We work too hard to be taken advantage of!
