Some researchers suffer from this issue and ask this question when their sample size is inadequate for the alpha level and analyses. Their studies will have reduced statistical power, which is the ability to find a statistical effect in the sample if the effect exists in the population. So are there any statistical solutions.
I am a not quan specialist buy I would say that depending on the study nature, focus and questions
SAMPLE should adequately represent the population. Inadequate sample is not useful in making an inference upon the population. If the sample is too small and does not meet the requirement of "minimum sample size" then the data is useless. Sample size requisite is the preliminary question that the researcher should answer. No good researcher should face with sample size issue. If the data is too small, it is a failed data set.

Paul Louangrath is very right. the sample size is not a problem. the problem is to use the correct methods of sampling and then the statistics or test accordingly.
Determining sample size is a very important issue because samples that are too large may waste time, resources and money, while samples that are too small may lead to inaccurate results. In many cases, we can easily determine the minimum sample size needed to estimate a process parameter, such as the population mean.
