As a Math Teacher and passionate in doing education related researches, This allowed me to love and master the concepts embedded in Statistics. I always wonder where and what to do to become a licensed statistician because I often got queries about rendering statistical services but I am hesitant to accept because I'm not a licensed statistician.
Do you know any licensed statistician?
As far as I know, statistics does not have any official licensing program.
But if you e.g. google "how to become a statistician" you will find several web pages that inform about paths to becoming a 'proper' statistician.
In the meantime, I believe that if you clearly state what makes you good at statistics and that you do not have the formal education for it, you should be OK with providing statistical services. Keep trying to make sure that you are doing the right thing, though, because statistics inform decisions and wrong decision support can have bad effects for which you may not want to be responsible.

There is always the traditional route of getting a certificate , master's degree or PhD in statistics
