I am planning to do a randomized sampling to fit in the assumptions of independent samples t test.

You will need to explore if the reasons for missing are similar for the groups from you randomization.
When a random sample of size n is extracted, it is good to keep in reserve another series of extractions (always extracted with the same method) with which to replace any missed answers / falls.
