Good evening professors and my fellow researchers all over the world.
My professor suggested placing the cultural dimension variable as a mediator of personality before forming behavior (leadership).
Please enlighten, what theories state that human behavior is formed from personalities that are mediated or intervened by the cultural dimensions they have?
This seems to be a standard approach to culture in contemporary anthropology, if I understand it correctly (I'm a social psychologist, not an anthropologist). An important paper is the following:
Brightman, R. (1995). Forget culture: Replacement, transcendence, relexification. Cultural Anthropology, 10(4), 509-546.
It appears to me that this approach to culture (that it's a result of psychological phenomena that occur within members of a group) seems to assumed by most social and organizational psychologists. However, we don't try to look at all dimensions of culture at once. We examine one or two dimensions at a time, not culture as a whole. The work of Geert Hofstede is foundational. The dimensions studied the most often are Individualism/Collectivism and Tightness/Looseness.

I Just read about tightness/Looseness cultural dimension.. And, I think it has similarity with indulgence/restraint. Isn't Doctor?
I am not sure this is the best way to approach this. It seems that you're wishing to use a cultural variable as a mediator and subsequently look for a theory to justify it. I think the better approach is to have an a priori reason for positing the mediator in the first place. Perhaps your professor has a theory in mind since he/she recommended it?
Also, cultural variables generally function more often as moderators in the literature. This may be worth considering.
