What theoretical framework could be appropriate for a study related with impacts on land tenure and wellness, and chances for Large Scale Land Base Investment (LSLBI) projects working together with farmer associations? Any advice?

Thanks for the attention, I am starting to work on my thesis for a Master degree on Land Management and Land Tenure and I am considering different options to select the most appropriate theoretical framework for the study. The basic objectives for my project are:

·         Identify positive and negative impacts on land tenure through LSLBI and determinate which of them are applicable in Colombia.

·         Determine what chances are for farmer associations within LSLBI and how is the current situation for them in the country.

·         Propose alternatives to improve land tenure for small and medium peasants through farmer association in LSLBI in Colombia.

Until now, I am thinking in apply Technology-Organization-Environment framework (TEO), because even when is usual applied for implementation and adoption of technology, can be useful in order to see what areas/subjects should be considered for farmers (through associations or cooperatives) to analyze pros-contras to join a LSLBI project instead continue working alones and in a separately way, resisting to global economies.
