What is the effect of temperature on the stability of polyphenols and could anyone suggest the appropriate storage conditions for them (rt,4-8 or -80). I need the storage conditions for polyphenolic, methanolic, and ethanolic extracts?
we have experience in extracting low mol weight polyphenols in ethanol/methanol in the range 12-80 %; we store extracts at -20 °C (with apparentely no problems in quantification).
