What statistical test should I use to compare weight profile of two groups of mice ( Knockout vs control mice)? I have data for 34 weeks of their weight. I am not sure whether I should use t test at each time point to compare means of their weight, or shall I use the ANOVA with repeated measures, but I dont know how to do that ANOVA and interpret my results, can you please help me in analyzing my data?
I am completely newbie in statistics, I appreciate your help.

You can use many methods on this analysis but not t test :
1- repeated measures analysis (you Download this paper form my researchgate)
2- split plot design your factor as: Knockout vs control mice and weeks (time factore)
3- MANOVA (Multivariate analysis) as Hoteeling test

you are asking a complicated question because you have so many repeats. You actually want a generalization of what Fadhil suggested called longitudinal models. The best intro I know is the attached notes. Good luck. David Booth
