Thank you for reading my question.

I'm going to synthesize carbon layers by CVD and methane is the one I want to handle for the source of carbon. My plan is to make it continuously flow in a furnace at a temperature of 900 ℃ for at least 3 hours under atmospheric pressure.

However, I've never had an experience in dealing with methane. I'm wondering if it will be safe when I use it in that way. I think emittance of explosive gases, flow rate and so forth are very important to consider.

Please, give me advices. I need your help..
