Hi everyone

I left my job last year to work full time on the development of budget spectrometer and have finally developed it. Now I'm looking towards developing a really awesome software which makes it very easy for the user to work. It would have most frequently used options on the top and so on.

It's a 10mm cuvette spectrometer, with the range 370-1000nm. There is no option for fiber optic cable as of now. It can take live spectra, so you can also do time vs wavelengths vs intensity 3D plots.

EDITED LATER:

  • At single wavelength measurement, noise is 0.6 % in intensity.
  • Frequency of the time points can be between 40microseconds-50seconds.

  • Resolution at 550nm is 1.4nm; 2nm at 400nm and 750nm
  • I'm making a Windows software and looking towards making a program which do not crash; autosave your activities time-to-time.

I have no experience in programming and am taking the help of a friend to code it for me. If anyone wants to contribute you're most welcome. You can also provide suggestion, flow charts, screenshots, or any other material that you think might add to the awesomeness of the software. I will give you a copy of the software (and even the spectrometer at a throwaway price!).

Excited to listen to your suggestions.

About the pictures: These are the CFL spectra, one (grey background) from ocean optics spectrometer  C2000-ISA and second (white Background) from my own spectrometer, SpectroSmart (please ignore the y-axis labels).
