Hello Everyone
Laktan 900 seems to be a very promising device for quick milk analysis in field. Its portable and cost effective.

Can anyone explain the working principle of this device?
In the video you can appreciate that this instrumet works between 780 nm and 803 nm, this is in the near infrared electromagnetic region.
Shubham,
So it's probably performing IR absorption spectroscopy.
Milk fat and water content are deducible:

But I'd take the manufacturer's statement that it offers " Perfect accuracy of measurements and stability " with a pinch of salt.
Dear Rathore
The Laktan 900 seems Lactoflash tool .
The principle of this tool depends on lactose found in sample .
The soft ware of tool stranded on lactose percentage when used any milk without lactose such as soy milk is not read any compound of milk

Hi James
I guess most of the customers fall for these 'multi parameter' analyzers.
Since, they are using a laser source, I am skeptical if they be doing IR spectroscopy which uses broadband source like a lamp.
Sandra
NIR Spectroscopy requires a broadband source. Here we have laser.
Our group have developed a pocket visible range spectrophotometer (www.testright.in) and are looking for application areas where we can put it to use. Most of the conventiontial 'color reading'...
