what basic difference in the SPR peaks of gold nanoparticles, which we should be taken under consideration to figure out difference in their shape i.e. spheres and cube shape. This would definitely be a primary data to distinguish but would definitely help to narrow down the parameter variation.

Not sure about cubic, but the sharper angles usually shift the SPR to longer wavelengths.
