As a management prof, I believe the problem statement should consisi of several organisational factors and their impacts and effects on employee motivation and productivity
Such factors should include organisational learning, leadership styles, culture, and climate of organisation, the values and mission of organisation, compensation, rewards, and punishment or social learning or carrots and sticks offered by managemet.

Dear MD Fazala: As a former executive of an IT company, the challenges we have faced were when having a great technical personnel in leadership/managerial posts who do not have the skills to lead/manage and/or understanding people. This is an area that could be explored. Best,
