Can you give us more information about the adsorption process you would like to study? Is it gas or liquid phase? Which parameters do you want to estimate through the experiment?
I want to analyse the effects of the concentrations of adsorbent as well as adsorbate , pH of the solution, particle size of the adsorbate and contact time on the adsorption of textile dye by the use of agroindustrial waste( solid ). So I can proceed for the optimization of the process. Sir its my first experiment so kindly suggest me what are strategies should be followed to reduce the errors as well as time.
for the sake of adsorption study, you can carryout out your experiment by selecting your significant factors as well as response variable depending on your objective. after you carryout this, especially in dealing with adsorption on wastewater/liquid, a powerful experimental design tool called ''design expert'' is available. with this software, you can input your independent factors with their levels and your response. a set of experimental runs will be established based on the type of method you chose. you can choose response surface method which is good for optimisation and to reduce the number of experimental runs to an acceptable limit . you can refer my publication for this purpose. this method allows you to vary your experimental conditions simultaneously and give you an empirical model that relate the factors with the response. from the statistical output of the software, you can see how your experimental data fits well by checking the r sqaure value as well as f test.
