Dear colleagues,
I am currently writing a paper that examines different definitions or different elements of a concept. In the literature review I got a good overview of the topic, but what I couldn't get from it was a comparison model for definitions.
So, I am looking for a model to compare the definitions [Edit] found in the Literature review. The defintions are verbal and do not have empirical data and are not based on empirical data. Discipline is Businss Administration. [/Edit]. No model to evaluate the concept, I found some. My own search has not yielded any useful results for comparison models.
Please, can you help me by either giving me good search terms, textbooks on comparison methodology or something you think can help me with this point?

If your research is empirical, you can use statistical method to identify components of a construct. If there are two similar constructs that will provide comparison.
You may work out construct validity that would be scientific.

Yes, it is a qualitative research. It is without interviews, just a Literature Review, so i derieve the defintions and concepts from papers.

Thank you Sajid Iqbal . Formal Concept Analysis is, as far as i have read mainly used for data analysis. The matrixes are in the direction what i could use.
I will try to give an example of what I want to achieve.
Definition A
A car is used to transport people.
Definition B
A car is used to transport people and goods.
Definition C
A car has 4 tyres, an engine and seats.
All these definitions are correct and differ in that they highlight different aspects and have different depths of analysis of the object.
Definition A can be evaluated as a partial definition of B.
Both definitions name the object (car), a purpose (transport) and at least one object (people or people and goods).
Definition C provides a different definition. It also names the object, names sub-objects (tyres, engine and seats). I can assume that the seats serve to transport people, but this is not explicitly stated.

Is it that you want to arrive at a comprehensive definition from A, B, and C?

I want to show what the definitions have in common but also that the do not show th whole picture.
For the example above there are several missing parts.
I could show that some cars do have 3 wheels.
O r that a cabrio is used for transportation and leisure.
S wi want a comprehensive difinition for what is used in scientific literature at the momen, showing that some definiions differ and also show that there is a research gap.
