[i] This instrument is one of the most used. However, it has received criticism regarding the operation of the last two subscales that comprise it (Depersonalization and Lack of personal fulfillment). In this sense, Garcia Izquierdo and Velandrino (1992) have developed a scale (EPB) adapted to the Spanish population, focused on emotional exhaustion.
[ii] Rodriguez-Marín et al. (1992) have adapted the Folkman and Lazarus questionnaire to the Spanish population, calling it "Questionnaire of Ways of Coping with Stressful Events".
[iii] This instrument, presented by Kompier and Levi (1994), is designed based on other important questionnaires in the workplace. These are:
- Job Content Questionnaire (Karask, 1985)
- Dutch Work and Health Questionnaire (Smulders, de Winter and Gründemann, 1992)
- NOVA-WEBA (Dhondt and Houtman, 1992)
- WEBA AND NOVA-WEBA related to the health and well-being of workers (Houtman, Bloemhoff, Dhondt and Terwee, 1994).
