Here are some good antibodies for neurofillament. Chemicon (NF-L, rabbit), Upstate (p-NF-M, mouse), Santa Cruz Biotechnology ( p-NF-M, mouse), Sigma (NF-L, mouse; NF-M, mosue; p-NF-H, mouse; NF-H, rabbit). I think you can easily find the antibodies on the website of these companies by using the information mentioned above. However, if  you need the catalog numbers, let me know. SMI-31 ist phospho, SMI-32 non-phospho. Die Misschung sollte pan-axonal sein, würde ich denken. Oder gehen alle SMIs raus? Weiter benutze ich den rabbit anti-NF-H Abcam ab40796 und en mouse NF-200 (N52 clone) Sigma N0142. Ich hoffe, das hilft dir weiter.

@ Tineke: SMI-31 (phos) and SMI-32 (non-phos) are for NF-H. They are still available. The N52 clone is also for NF-H (phos and non-phos). I´m looking also for the other chains for the PAM-cocktail.

I´m checking the other companies Yingjun Liu mentioned above to create a list.

To whom it may concern: Here is a list of antibodies directed against neurofilaments from different companies.

We are now testing 3 of them. I don´t know if it has something to do with high demand, but fees are exploding somehow (come on: 435,- Euros for 100ul and then 1:20 in ICC?!?)...

The SMI clones you're referring to SMI 312, SMI 31 and SMI 32, are all available from BioLegend. Some are available in sampler sizes and conjugated formats. These are the clones that were acquired from Covance!
