Hello, I am trying to collect information from students of a certain institution about their attitude towards covid-19. At the moment they have only suggested the questionnaire to me, but as is known, the questionnaire has its disadvantages. There is some method that should be added to the questionnaire to avoid this misinformation leak. It is not convenient for me Focus Group, In-depth interviews for reasons of COVID-19 protocols. As my sample is too big I can't use meet or any other webchat.

I assume you wanted to avoid random answer. If so, you may try the following method in designing your questionnaire.
1. Initially keep some basic questions which are easy to answer. you can call it first level of knowledge on the topic
2. Then keep more complex questions which are second level of knowledge questions for students
3. Next more advance level of questions and keep this option (don't know) in response section. These are advance level questions require in depth knowledge
If someone fails to answer basic questions BUT answer advance level of questions correctly you can guess something is wrong. Sorry I don't know any sophisticated method at this moment to tackle such issues

Give questions which require True answers
rather than false ones. It's very difficult to interpret false true answers, assuming you are looking for the true answers. David Booth
