Movements are being restricted and so also contacts with people during this Covid -19 saga. Yet, experiments have been designed while implementation has started. What choice do i have as a researcher?
You have different options depending on the state of your assay.
For example: Do you have the option of delaying your assay by a few months? If you do not have this option because your assay has already started, then you can collect data on your own, under safe conditions (mask, gloves, hand hygiene at all times).
But if you want my advice: you should ask the authorities in your country about this because the circumstances may be different from those of others.

@Dr alabi, you can move your animals, if possible, to a coverage area convenient for the effective research, or get official and proper identifiers as a researcher so that you and your team can asap and when necessary. These do not preclude doing the needful: proper hygiene, keeping safe and staying safe. Good luck sir.
