In the electrocatalytic oxidation of organic analytes, we found the left-right asymmetry of DPV oxidation peak shape for the same target analysis using different nanomaterials. In some cases, the change on the right side causes the peak height to be very small when the tangent line is made. Although the peak current may sometimes be the maximum, the peak height may be the minimum after the tangent line. What is the mechanism and cause of this phenomenon?
