Quality education provides children with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in and contribute to the global economy, as well as to engage in meaningful social and political discourse. Unfortunately, access to quality education is not always available, especially for those from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. This is a major concern, as it perpetuates existing social and economic inequalities, and limits the opportunities available to those from lower socio-economic backgrounds. Therefore, it is essential to take measures to ensure access to quality education for all children in the world, regardless of their socio-economic status.
