Hello all,

I am looking to include a dimension of Lacanian psychoanalysis to my master thesis. I am in the early phases. My focus is rooted in unlearning, objecthood, memory/familiarity/consciousness. I am also looking at topology (Borromean Knots) and the symptom. For context, I am dealing with this work in the environment of exhibition-making and curatorial work.

I wanted to start doing some more expansive reading on text offered by Lacan and I was wondering if anyone can give me guidance as to which one of his seminars/books are best suited to my area of interest.

So far, I have narrowed it down to:

The Four Fundamental Concepts of Psychoanalysis

Ecrits: The First Complete Edition

Formations of the Unconscious: The Seminar of Jacques Lacan, Book V

Desire and its Interpretation: The Seminar of Jacques Lacan

The Other Side of Psychoanalysis

The Psychoses: The Seminar of Jacques Lacan

The Object Relation: The Seminar of Jacques Lacan, Book IV

I will likely look at all of these but I think it would be better if I start with stronger texts. :) Thank you!
