when electropolymerization of brittle films is taking place on stainless steel electrodes they are easy in detaching from the electrode but they get damaged mechanically as they are so fragile ....what kind of electrode can I use which is non-corroding as SS and also porous ...i prefere not to detach my sample film and apply that further as fabricated on the support

I will give you just an idea of what somebody is doing in my lab. They are doing electro polymerization on ITO-glass, since the ITO is conductive you can used it as one of your electrodes and then when applying the current the polymer that needs to be in solution can be polymerized on the surface of it. Hope it can be applied to what you want to do.
Hi; Almost all well-known conducting polymers such as poly pyrrole, poly aniline, polythiophene and so on are electrochemically prepared as non flexible films on various substrates. Addition of suitable plastisizers to the electropolymerization solution, preconditioning of the substrate surface (chemically or electrochemically) could help you to prepare tightly attached thin films of conducting polymers on the SS electrodes.
