Is possible to use Cronbach 's alpha if the scale of responses is not homogeneous?
KAP survey could vary from open ended questions to close ended. if the Quesstionnaire inlcude measures as in likert scale, then yes, Cronbach's alpha can be applied.

In the Knowledge, Attitude and Practice survey usually contained Open ended and Closed ended questionnaires. If you will use the likert scale, then you have to find the Cronbach's Alpha value.

You can use alpha, but what the other replies haven't underlined is that it's meaningless unless the items are unidimensional.

One more question, if the questionnaire is exploratory and does not have a Likert scale cutoffs or type, internal consistency can be performed by other method than alpha Cronbach?
