I am doing a bibliographic search to choose a type of mixed design for the construction of a quantitative instrument.
From what I have been able to compile it should be a mixed study of 2 phases, a first qualitative phase to raise dimensions for the instrument and a second quantitative one for the validation of the instrument.
Could you recommend me readings about the methodology or some type of study?

you can adopt Sequential Exploratory Design in mixed method research i.e. Qual -> Quan. But your research should be preceded & supported with rigorous literature review on those constructs / dimensions you want to include in the construction of your quantitative instrument.

In regard with your instrument development, there is my experience use mixed method for validating research model. I think, despite both points are different, the model validation process may be one of the considerations here. I used a sequential mixed method by employing QUAL and then QUAN validation methods.
In the first stage, I assumed that my consultations with supervisor, interviews and discussions with the colleagues and professors in my research group, and the seminars in the department and faculty levels are the data collection techniques. I believed that the skills, knowledge, and experiences of the above mentioned key informants are helpful to explore the model validity. Of course, clarity of the process design and transcriptions across the stage must be kept here. The findings revealed several highlighted themes. Following the recommendations, the model was then revised and to be input of the second stage--the QUAL method following the sequential meta-inference.

In the second stage, I examined the revised model through a pilot survey study. In regard with the results, the model was then revised following the recommendations.

In short, the above mentioned stages indicate sequentially implementation of QUAL and QUAN studies for validating the model. Besides the clarity of the process, the findings--the second revised model can be retrieved within the meta-inferences of the study.
