I have designed a microstrip patch antenna that has a dimension of 13 mm X 8 mm. The microstrip line width is around 500 micrometers. The substrate is not PCB or FR4, for some reason, I can not tell the name, however, it is relatively flexible.

You need to check the operation frequencies of the available SMA connectors. You can also use coaxial cable to feed and measure the antenna.

SMA connector if not mm wave antenna. For mm wave for an example, we need k type connector

You should use u.FL/horse shoe connector, as i think i know what material/antenna type u r talking about
