What kind of censoring occurs in a sectional study?

If a study is sectional, are data censored by left AND right? How can I define the fail time variable?

How proceed with R command "Surv()" from "survival" package?

Prof Marília Carvalho answered me. She said that seccional studies are censored only by right. Time variable is commonly defined.
