The data was collected for more than one year using 40 GPS loggers and was collected from a large area extended over 25 islands and most of the islands are surrounded by coral reefs. Most of the fish species caught are demersal and the gear used by fishermen is hook and line when the target species is fish and artificial lures when the target species is cuttlefish.

For all the trips I have also collected the catch species composition, crew number and gear and boat specifications. I have also satellite images of the study area and I am going to make habitat mapping to classify the habitats in the same fishing grounds.

Another 6 months datasets were collected using 10 GPS loggers. The gears used here is purse seine and the target species is pelagic. Unfortunately, I could not find significant differences in SST or chlorophyll using MODIS satellite images because the fishery is small scale and extended over a small area (until 25 Km offshore) and it was difficult to find clear satellite images especially for chlorophyll.

Any advice in this study will be appreciated.
