hi. MY philosophy of teaching is a two-way relation with learners; taking pat in social interactions to scaffold others and they scaffold me emotionally and cognitively. they help me o feel good by being an effective teacher and I pave the way for them to become independent autonomous learners. I love helping others and it meets my need. although not paid enough in my country, teaching is my favorite job. best
This is a very interesting question because teachers are influenced by various philosophies of education that have a great bearing on the way they teach. The philosophy I personally follow is based on existentialism and social praxis. I try to enhance learners' motivational practices to enjoy their learning and to help their critical thinking skills and self directed strategies develop. Notably, teaching should cater to psychological needs of the learners in order to help them create a positive self image about themselves.
My Teaching Philosophy is to ensure that students acquire the right knowledge. My goal is to ensure that each student no matter the background go home with the knowledge that can be defended. I inculcate into them the ethics of hard work, self- esteem, independence, and merit.

Common people generally use the word “philosophy” to indicate one’s perception or outlook on life, or basic principles behind something. In this context, you may have your own philosophy of teaching. While formulating your philosophy of teaching, consider the following 10 qualities, and do an introspection about you as a teacher in terms of these qualities.
1. Passion for teaching
2. Love of students
3. Communication and oratory skills
4. Good personality
5. Deep knowledge
6. Good listener
7. Sense of humour
8. Dynamism
9. Good language
10. Motivational skills
Remember the following too attributed to William Arthur Ward (1921–1994) , “The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”
"In school you get lessons first then the test. In real life, you'll get the test first then you'll get the lesson - if you open your mind." It does wonders to how they perceive their errors/wrong answers in tests, for they understand that test scores can be done again even better, not dissimilar to hitting replay button in games determined to win. They're less stressed about numbers/letters and more eager to ask for tips on how to perform better before/after tests, because I also teach them bit by bit about real life - little things to give them head starts, such as self-improvement books/videos/websites, the pros of going to social events, taking notes of their accomplishments for their future resume.
For little kids, my principle in teaching them is to nurture their curiosity. Cutting or brushing them off when they have a question is a big NO, because not only scientifically it disrupts their thought process, psychologically it has a large chance of sinking the impression that asking an adult is upsetting or useless. I can't stop a random adult from doing that to them, but I can make an effort to impress that they are allowed to ask their own teacher. Plus, I happen to love it when they keep chaining why-why-why-why. Unlike sassy high schoolers or my own college peers, kids value my answers and really listen.
The educational process depends on three basic aspects interconnected among them and works to integrate the teaching process in the educational institutions, namely the teacher and the student and the curriculum with its known components. Thus, the teacher is part of the educational environment of the student and influential in learning to a large extent, where it can not achieve the desired educational goals without the presence of an efficient teacher no matter the integration of other circumstances. The curriculum and school organization and equipment with its importance diminishes effectiveness before the teacher's body as it does not acquire vitality only through his personality . It affects the student's behavior, his thoughts and his emotions, which is guided by his continuous contact with the ideals and higher values that he paints for him. Therefore, he determines the fate of the student generations prepared to build and develop the society after the completion of the learning process...In the light of the educational philosophy of modern
My teaching philosophy is depending on students' maturity i.e. balancing between direct teaching or empowered teaching i.e. fish for them directly or teach them how to fish. Fish for them directly is baby step towards teaching them how to fish for themselves or be more resourceful in learning on their own.
I usually start teaching from simple concepts and then elaborate by taking few relevant examples. Then there will be a discussion session, though that will be small. Lastly, minimum two numerical problems will be solved.
In addition to highly appreciated contributions from colleagues, a very interesting aspect in teaching is extracting INNOVATIONS from students ! smart students may ask questions or add comments including seeds for innovations !
