In my opinion, we are witnessing the popularity of using deep learning in many fields and in the near future it will be extended in all aspects of science, engineering and so on. What is your opinion?
Computational power of PCs increases with an exponential growth every year. This allows the definition of new more complex Deep Neural Network (DNN) models. For example, nowadays a training of a General Adversarial Network (GAN) requires a lot of computational power and several days to get incredible results. Try to think what happen if we have a computational power 100 times higher or more than today.
Alae Ammour i think that field of deep learning is growing day by day in last few years and may be in next few years it's going to put huge impact in daily life.
the age of deep learning will come to end very soon. it is computationally expensive and the only improvement you can do is to make it more complex. I can't remember where, but one author state that in next 5-10 years we will have much more simplified version of machine learning algorithm to replace deep learning. Surely a truly native AI algorithm will come out.
Deep Learning (DL) is just an application for training data and is an important building block of machine learning for big data so far. A good book uncomprehensive study of DL is here: https://www.deeplearningbook.org/
