If some have argued that knowledge comes from reason and others that it comes from experience. impression etc. What could be wrong with claiming that knowledge comes through a semiotic process? We all know that what comes to us as knowledge when we perceive an object is neither totally determined by us nor by the object out there. Rather, it is a synergy (not merely a combination) of the object, our impression of it and our reason. Is it a worthwhile position to pursue? what could be the possible challenges to the position? Is anyone thinking in that direction?
