I am trying to understand why my gelatin fibers are floating off the precleaned, Starfrost, non-adhesive microscope slides when they are crosslinked and placed in PBS at 37C. One thought I had was that the surface charge of the slides may play a role. I cannot produce the fibers on the adhesive treated slides.
