I need to transform pRS416 plasmid containing an interesting point mutation gene to S288c which contained random mutation. Since this strain can grow on SD media so I've just wondered, what media should I use for transformant selection?

If the strain is actually S288C, you can't select transformants containing pRS416 (URA3) as S288C has no available auxotrophy marker (it is not URA3 defective). For your knowledge, S288C genotype is : MATα SUC2 gal2 mal2 mel flo1 flo8-1 hap1 ho bio1 bio6 .
This strain has been used for genome sequencing and is the strain background which has been used to generate the BY serie which are more suitable for what you are intending to do... Have a look at the following for more info :
