The success rate has been proven by research and studies to be very effective, but each study differs from the other in terms of application and method used, and this depends on the researcher adopting a correct methodology consistent with what he is doing
Amir is absolutely on the ball, in terms of every study being different, having different aims, objectives, and, most importantly, are often measuring different types of technological infrastructure. Also in terms of research showing how effective e-learning can be, the success of the Open University or Coursera, for example.
A lot of my own work and research would try to identify interpersonal interactions between students and educators, and the shift to fully digital mediums for teaching could be difficult and challenging without training and ongoing support. Trying to boil this question down into 1 answer is tricky because there are multiple sub-questions that would influence how people would respond. Realistically, we know that a curriculum is only as good as its accessibility and deliverability. Greater emphasis would then be placed on educators and how they navigate the curriculum; this would still count in an online context, too.
In terms of success rates, in terms of meeting objectives, online/e-learning is definitely a growing space, with more research showing just how effective it can be. At the same time, while these studies are being published almost daily, I can't stress enough how important it is to also try measure the "success rate" in terms of experience.
"The success rate" by its means, refers to a quantitative/ number as valid data. However, this is speculatively mistaken if the curricula objected to this pandemic.
E-learning has been applied generally for Adults Learners and University Students since years ago. The validity of success could be seen by the objectives of filling the survey and any outcome results. The results of success rate may vary in each institution or faculty.
But since you ask in this pandemic, the subjects are most likely "Young Learners [Primary and Secondary students], so the success rate should be seen about how fun and interest they are studying, and also how the critical discourse of questions could they understand and focus on.
Success rate depends on the effect of e-learning plan and how it achieve the objectives of curricula, and the target group you focussed and genuine data collection
