Australian Business deans council publishes a list of journals with categories A to C. On the other hand Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science) publishes Journal Citation Reports (JCR) as per the annual impact factor of the journal. My question is what is actually the difference bw the two? and which one is more Credible and prestigious? As some of journals listed in JCR are not listed in ABDC and vice versa??
Publishers outside Australia cannot submit their journals for evaluation. They need to find a trustworthy academician from Australia to submit journal to ABDC on their behalf. This is big drawback ABDC have. They should allow submissions from all geographic areas if they want to get worldwide recognition and acceptance.

Your question deserves a research procedure, a comparative one. If the ABDC represents only journals from Australia then the JCR list is more prestigious, since it is not limited to a country or a continent.

Generally, JCR journals are more credible than other journals; specially those with higher impact factors.
Sir, JCR journals are acceptable at international level specially with high Impact factor. Where as ABDC pertains to particular region. There is another Journal Quality rating called Chartered ABS with maximum 4 *. These rating represent particular regions mainly UK, Europe and Australia. Most of the researchers follow these ratings due to acceptability and consideration in their regions. Moreover the agencies have their own criteria of evaluating Journal and research Quality

The Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) Journal Quality list ranks journals into four categories in many desciplines, mainly business, taxation, and law. The ABS list is issued by the Associations of Business Schools. I believe that ABS journal list is more popular.
ABDC website clearly mentions that ABDC journal ranking was established only for Australia (include New Zealand as well). Even, rest of the world cannot submit their journals for evaluation, only Australian academics can. Therefore, anyone who considers ABCD list as a quality journal list for his country is only making himself look like a fool :) Yes! You are in toto out of scope! If you want to have rankings made for all countries, consider ABS or Norwagian Register journal ranking. Best...
I absolutely agree with Mahmood Anwar. Nowadays ABDC is listing those journals which don't have any Indexing in scopus or web of science. Therefore, only follow ABS ranking.
