To maintain the same bach of materials throughout the project work, we use 150 mm diameter and 300 mm height cylinders. Is it allowable by the standards if we will use the same sample size for direct tensile strength?

The mean internal diameter of the mould is 15 cm ± 0.2 mm and the height is 30 +/- 0.1 cm.

For direct tensile test you can see ASTM code. Also, you can see journal article for dog bone test. it is used find out stress and strain of a material under tension.

Yes that is okay. But note that the cylinder strength is different from the cube ones.
