We produced liquid fuel after condensation of gas which come from the waste plastic bags by heating them at 500 degree centigrades in enclosed furnace in absence of air. Now we are confused about the distillation of the liquid fuel. One more thing is also confusing me that If we stored condensed liquid fuel in the plastic bottles than vapours are shown inside surface of bottle but if we poured it in the glass bottle, than there is no vapour inside. So is this fuel is reactive to plastic? or what? please help!
The liquid from condenstaded gas I think is mainly naphtha. Check with Engler-distillation. This fuel should be not reactive to plastic. What kind of waste plastic was the source?

We used polythene in the reactor and when we put it in the plastic bottle than it gave us droplets inside the bottle!
Yes sir, droplets of fuel! If we put the fuel in the test tubes than their is no fuel droplets on the wall but in case of plastic bottle fuel reacts with bottle and droplets comes on the wall.
And you think that is because of the fuel reacting with the bottle? It seems weird to me. Did you checked the fuel? Is it gasoline?
Yes sir it is reacting with plastic bottle. Sir, I dont know what it is? thats why i asked which type of distillation is required for new fuel? Will you please help me for finding out the contents of the fuel, process of refining the fuel and any standard methods of distillation?

It does not smell like gasoline or diesel. It has irritating smell. So now what i have to do, please guide
I am pretty sure that it is not a "new" fuel. As I said before, I recommend the Engler-distillation (ASTM D86), you know that process I am sure. It will show you the boiling range of your product. I am pretty sure, that is gasoline if you condensated the gas product of the reactor.
About the smell: isnt it possible that acids or bases were formed during the cracking?
This person must have carried out pyrolysis of the plastic. Try to obtain boiling range of various fraction during the distillation to have the idea of the composition. It would probably be gasoline that was obtained.
Also, attempt to do IR, FTIR of the sample to have some clue.
