I designed a vehicle model and when runing, an error message appear which:" Algebraic state in algebraic loop containing '....../Product23' computed at time 0 is Inf or NaN. There may be a singularity in the solution. If the model is correct, try reducing the step size (either by reducing the fixed step size or by tightening the error tolerances). i tried to reduce the fixed step size but it appears again, please help me to correct this error.thanks.
Please make the system in adaptive. I think so it was non adaptive
Try to break the algebraic loop by inserting on th feedback loop a Memory type block.
A vehicle dynamic model should not give 'algebraic loop' error if the modelling is correct. From your question it is not clear how are you doing it. Generally, a vehicle model will have a set of dynamic equation which is provided with a reference control profile. This is an open loop simulation. For a closed loop simulation, the current state is used to generate a new control command which then is passed on to the system dynamics. In both cases there is no algebraic loop. So maybe you should go through the model thoroughly. In some cases though it could compromise the accuracy you can do as told by Lorand Szabo (Memory Block).
Try to add algebraic constraint block in your model. It may solve your issue.
i have the same problem what is very interesting that it happens for new versions of matlab i have a simulink file that works fine in matlab2011 but don't work with matlab2013 also changing the solver or step size or tolerance may help
please how to get rid of the problem caused by the algebric loop during simulation under simulink?
Try to insert a certain time delay in your simulation file, I think this will solve the problem.
