The base oil is sesame oil.
I would recommend laser diffraction such as by the Malvern Mastersizer instrument for measuring particle size of emulsions.
As mentioned by Malm, DLS analysis is recommended. Keep in mind that there are limitations to each instrument. For instance, Horiba DLS-100z measures sizes of less than 8 microns and of course greater than 0.3 nm.

You may try particle size analyser via x-ray scattering method. It will tell from nano range to micro range even.
