I usually use the protocol of Hodges et al. (1999) in Planta 207:604-611 and in my opinion is the best as well as easy to perform .

It is based on TBA wavelenght absorbance spectrofotometrically determined. Furthermore, differently from other protocols, it allows to remove the interfererence of coloured pigments (anthocyanins, ecc...). For these reasons I strongly suggest to use this protocol.
