For any diffraction pattern, using "search and match" in software shows the possible phases (based on restriction). But when we accept a phase We can see the score and scale value. What does it mean ?
The score mean how close the candidate to ur data by peak position and relative intensity ratio. The highest value is 100 (perfect match). But the value wont be rite if ur sample contained rock in dust effect and or preferred orientation, because the database is referred to ideal powder.

There are several options to make a score in Highscore s/w.
E.g. Intensity(ratio), position, # of matched line, # of non-matched line, peak shifting
Your data is considered by matching reference database.
You can also look at other colume of the result pane in where describes many sub results.

Do search peaks, u'll find the score change... The score based on how close ur data to the database... min 0 max 100...
