Unfortunately there isn't  serological tests to detect tetanopasmine in dogs and cats. The only diagnostic method currently practiced is the cultural isolation, but it requires biosafety level 3, and the cultural isolation in vivo is extremely difficult.

I would appreciate any help, even if only bibliographic information, since it is practically nonexistent.
