My colleague Nurzhafarina Othman and I are organizing a symposium for SCB Asia (http://scbasia2014.org/) on this topic. The conference will take place August 19-22 in Melaka, Malaysia. I would like to crowd-source possible speakers. We are looking for people with experience running a long-term research project or conservation program in Asia to discuss the benefits and challenges of their work, and what impact it has had. The scope can be diverse - species, population or ecosystem level. We appreciate your suggestions for speakers!
