I received an invitation of "Modern Sciences Journal" (www.modernsciences.org) on September 1st in order to evaluate my mathematical article. Now I received the notification of acceptation on December 20th and they ask me a pay of 350 USD in order to be published.
I have searched about this Journal but apparently it isn't recognized as a valid scientific Journal nor is it included in the "white lists" of recognized Journals.
On their web page I have searched something about the editors of the Journal, but it doesn't appear anything.
The person that wrote me is called Don Smith ([email protected]) but he didn't identify with any other institution like an University.
I hope some info about this Journal and its reliability.

They are too new to be included in either a white or blacklist. As a matter a fact they have not published a single paper (yet). Though they look misleadingly professional there are a number of things that disturb me:
-Contact info is to say the least vague
-Asking you for paying an APC is a red flag since they are not transparent about this
-No affiliation which makes you wonder about their business model (besides hidden APC’s)
-The use of Don Smith…really? Sounds like a fake non-existing person
-Honestly cannot find a reason for their existence, ‘modern science’ is well…
I would say avoid.

Update 21-9-2022: Some barely edited papers are now available in their first volume (Volume 11, issue 1 misleadingly suggestion ten previous volumes).

I think the advice of Nadira Khanum and the opinion of Rob Keller are useful in this case.
Dear Professor
In these days there are many journal running which only need a specific amount to publish anything, even they did not care about the quality of the paper.
So we careful and should not sent our quality research article to these journal and must boycott them (my personal view).
