Hand washing is strongly recommended as one of the measures available to reduce the spread of Covid 19. The quality of water used in hand washing is important in this case, so as to minimize the spread of other infections. Are there any known standards to guide in the selection/evaluation of water for hand washing purposes.
Hand should be washed for atleast 30second following WHO recommended seven steps by medicated soap
Tap water is the preferred water to use for handwashing. In the case of using water from other sources, such as water from rivers, ponds, or groundwater, it is preferable to boil it before use.
